How Does Xeomin® Work?

Injections of Xeomin® cause the facial muscles to relax so that it does not pinch your skin when you use expressions. This allows time for your skin to develop a smoother, refreshed appearance.

What Should I Expect from Xeomin®?

Dr. Hopkins uses a very small needle to inject Xeomin® into the muscles. If you are uncomfortable with needles and injections, she can numb the skin before the procedure. The entire muscle needs to be relaxed, and this requires multiple injections. You may notice some mild bruising, bleeding, swelling, and tenderness around each injection site. These symptoms should last only a few days. The results of your Xeomin® treatment can take up to four days.

After your initial treatment, you should have maintenance treatments every four months for Botox®, Kybella®, Dysport®, and Xeomin®. Our other dermal fillers and injectables require follow-up treatments every year.
